One day, I'll regularly transcribe someone who's not Pat Metheny, but until that day, here's a gem of his as a sideman on a Michael Brecker record. This one is from Brecker's 1996 release "Tales From the Hudson". This absolutely
amazing album boasts an impressive lineup with three of my favorite musicians of all time; Brecker, Metheny, and McCoy Tyner. Anyway, Metheny's solo is as unstoppable and unrelenting as Brecker's solo. There are some incredible lines in here for all instrumentalists to study.
