Playing guitar and teaching guitar are entirely separate skills. As a student myself, I've learned this the hard way taking lessons from people who's teaching chops weren't even close to their playing chops. My goal with teaching is to teach students the way that I wish I would have been taught myself. I've honed my teaching skills since 2011 and have maintained an active and ever-growing private lesson studio since then. I've compiled all the best things I've gotten from books, courses, and of course my own experiences in music school and on the band stand to ensure you get the most well-rounded education possible. In addition to teaching in person, I've taught students online through Skype and other platforms. This has given me the pleasure of reaching students all around the United States and into Europe.
If you're not convinced that I'm the instructor for you, why not test things out? I know how important it is to find a teacher that matches well with your tastes and learning style so I offer a free lesson consultation to all interested students. This allows us to get a chance to see how we match, as well as to discuss goals and identify a good path for your lessons to take moving forward. After that, it's time to start learning!
